Wembley: London’s thriving family community

Wembley’s reputation as a cultural destination is second to none. It’s vast transformation over the past 15 years has seen it evolve into one of London’s most vibrant and fastest growing neighbourhoods. Within this, there are various pockets of activity that when combined, position Wembley as the benchmark of family-friendly living in London today.

Wembley is increasingly becoming a hotspot destination to live in London. The past five years have seen a population increase of just under 10% who are the heart of this established community. With soaring house prices in Central London, Wembley’s Zone 4 offering is becoming increasingly attractive.

Roughly 10 miles north-west of Central London, Wembley’s proximity to the capital is an alluring attribute for all. Its connectivity via three key stations using the Metropolitan, Bakerloo and Jubilee lines makes it one of London’s most connected locations – a key USP for parents, students and professionals.

“Wembley really does have it all and is a perfect home for younger families as it epitomises the dynamism of London living.”

The ease of connectivity is just one of many characteristics that makes Wembley a highly sought after destination for families. While top Central London schools are easily accessible via public transport, Wembley’s own state primary schools are highly regarded with Ofsted ratings ranging between ‘Good’ and ‘Outstanding’ as well as numerous private schools.

While education is evidently a key consideration for young families, there is much more to Wembley than its excellent connectivity. It is a safe, clean neighbourhood and a renowned food and leisure destination such as London Designer Outlet, street food hub BOXPARK and the Secret Cinema pop-up.

With the warmer months approaching, living near open green space is always a benefit, and Wembley does not disappoint in delivering areas of interaction with the botanical world. Barham Park’s walled garden and play area makes for a fun family day out and the Welsh Harp, one of London’s largest bodies of open water, offers various activities including inflatable activity courses and paddle boarding.

This vibrant energy of Wembley has been weaved into the design of Regal London’s latest development in the heart of the area, Fulton & Fifth. Other than living by one of the world’s most iconic stadiums, the 800-home neighbourhood will integrate with the existing community with new cafes and shops, as well as 2.3 acres of family-friendly open space to encourage community gathering.

Paul Eden, Co-Founder at Regal London said “Wembley really does have it all and is a perfect home for younger families as it epitomises the dynamism of London living. While residents of Fulton & Fifth will be joining an already established, vibrant neighbourhood just over ten minutes from Central, it is also a peaceful sanctuary with various areas of escapism from the hustle and bustle of London.”
